Ovulation – the BIG event

Ovulation is the process of ripening the egg cell and then releasing it from the follicle.  Once the Follicular phase is complete there will be one or more mature follicles ready to release an egg cell.  In order to do this there is a hormone which will ripen the egg and then open the follicle to release the egg.  This hormone is called Lutenizing Hormone (LH). .....  read more....
